It holds 32 culture bottles, each in its own independently controlled position with a dedicated detector, so bottles can be loaded and unloaded at any time without interrupting other cultures. Automatic scanning every 10 minutes provides continuous, real-time monitoring, and positive results are typically flagged within 24 to 72 hours, helping clinicians diagnose sepsis and guide antibiotic therapy sooner. Four culture bottle types are supported: aerobic, anaerobic, paediatric, and L-form bacteria. Resin adsorption technology neutralises antibiotics in patient samples to improve detection. Shatter-resistant plastic bottles improve laboratory safety, and a Touch-Scan-Load function with an integrated barcode scanner and double barcode management speeds up specimen entry and helps prevent mislabelling. Sound, light, and colour alarms highlight positive bottles immediately, and LIS and HIS connectivity supports seamless data transfer.
