Labtron’s Washer Disinfector is an automatic, high-capacity cleaning and disinfection system designed specifically for use in medical and laboratory environments. With a 350-liter chamber, it provides a reliable, automated solution for cleaning and disinfecting surgical and medical instruments. It follows a thorough process that includes pre-cleaning, cleaning, rinsing, disinfection, and drying. This makes it ideal for use in settings such as outpatient clinics, intensive care units, and central sterilization service departments.

It operates through a detailed and effective multi-stage cleaning process. The cycle begins with pre-cleaning, followed by enzyme-based cleaning to break down organic matter. After that, instruments undergo a first rinse, then chemical disinfection using a glutaraldehyde solution. A second rinse follows to remove any chemical residue. Finally, the system performs thermal disinfection using hot water above 90°C and completes the process with high-temperature drying above 100°C. This comprehensive sequence ensures both physical and microbiological cleanliness.

The system uses this chemical during the disinfection stage, in combination with circulating hot water, to ensure that all microbial contamination is thoroughly eliminated from instruments.
