Its intelligent control system with a 7-inch touchscreen allows easy monitoring of temperature, system status, and alarms. The durable stainless-steel interior, along with organized shelving and safety features like a built-in lock and audible/visual alarms, make it highly reliable and suitable for demanding lab environments.

The freezer uses a direct cooling method and is controlled by a microprocessor, which ensures precise temperature regulation. A PT 100 sensor continuously monitors the internal temperature, while the LCD touchscreen displays real-time data. Even in case of external issues like power failure or voltage fluctuation, the system includes multiple alarms and a warm-up time of 234 minutes to give users a buffer to safeguard samples. The high-performance compressor and efficient insulation system (PURF) also contribute to maintaining stable internal conditions.

Labtron has equipped this freezer with a comprehensive set of safety features to prevent sample loss. It includes audible and visual alarms for events like high or low temperature, power failure, abnormal voltage, sensor error, low battery, door ajar, and thermostat failure. A special 72-hour power failure alarm ensures long-term monitoring even when the freezer is off. Labtron’s freezer is built with user convenience in mind. The large 7-inch touchscreen provides clear and easy navigation through controls and system information. It features an ergonomic handle for smooth door access and quick-release filters for easy maintenance. The freezer is mounted on four castors, allowing it to be moved easily when needed. Although it uses a manual defrost system, which requires periodic ice removal, the straightforward design makes this process manageable for most users.

Labtron provides multiple ways to monitor and manage data from the freezer. The built-in USB port allows users to easily export and store temperature data. There's also an RS485 interface and a remote alarm port, enabling connectivity with external monitoring systems or building management systems.
