  • Grinding media are available in different materials, each chosen based on their hardness, resistance properties, and application suitability. Zirconia balls, with a Mohs hardness greater than 9.0, are extremely wear-resistant, chemically inert, and capable of withstanding high temperatures and corrosion. They are best used with zirconia, PTFE, nylon, corundum, PU, and tungsten carbide jars, making them suitable for high-purity applications such as advanced ceramics and pharmaceuticals. Stainless steel balls, with a hardness above 6.0, offer good wear and corrosion resistance and are ideal for general-purpose milling of metallic or abrasive materials when paired with stainless steel jars.
