Labtron Analytical Balances provide capacity range from 100 g to 15 kg for measurement of mass. Their taring function and calibration ensure correct assessment and ease of interpretation. They feature draft shields and digital readouts to enhance reliability and usability. Their design assures user-friendly operation and reduces errors. Our Analytical Balances is essential for research, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing for quality control and testing.

An analytical balance has higher sensitivity and can measure very small weights accurately, typically down to 0.1 mg. In contrast, a precision balance usually has a lower readability such as 0.01 g or 0.001 g and is used when such extreme precision is not required. Labtron’s Analytical Balance has a resolution of 0.0001 g.
A draft shield protects the weighing pan from air currents and dust, which can cause fluctuations in readings. Since analytical balances are extremely sensitive, even small disturbances can lead to inaccurate measurements. Our Analytical Balance comes with a draft shield for accurate readings.
Internal calibration is a feature of our Analytical Balance with which it automatically calibrates itself using a built-in reference weight. This function ensures consistent accuracy without the need for external weights and is especially useful in environments where frequent calibration is required due to changes in temperature or usage conditions.
The tare function allows the user to zero the balance after placing a container on the pan, so only the net weight of the sample inside the container is measured. This is useful in virtually all weighing tasks to avoid including the weight of containers in the result.
Always use gloves or tweezers to handle samples to avoid contamination, ensure the balance is level, avoid placing items directly on the pan, and close the draft shield during weighing to maintain stability. Always use tare function for accurate sample reading and shut it off when not in use.
