Labtron Genetic Analyzer efficiently processes large volumes of genetic samples with its multi-sample capability. They provide highly accurate and precise genetic data through automated sequencing. They have tools to visualize genetic data and patterns, supported by integrated software for better analysis and interpretation. Our genetic analyzer includes built-in controls to ensure data quality and reliability. They allow for customization and expansion based on research needs.

Labtron’s Genetic Analyzer operates using capillary electrophoresis combined with laser-induced fluorescence detection. It uses a 505 nm solid-state semiconductor laser and detects fluorescence signals above 520 nm. This system allows for accurate analysis of DNA fragments by separating them based on size and identifying them using fluorescent labeling, which is critical for applications like STR analysis and sequencing.
The analyzer is designed for high-throughput operations and can process up to 760 samples per day. Each batch can include 24 samples, with an average runtime of less than 45 minutes. This efficiency makes it suitable for busy labs requiring rapid analysis, such as forensic DNA databasing or large-scale genetic studies.
It supports automatic sample loading using either 96-well microplates or 8-strip tubes. It includes an automatic polymer injection system that streamlines the preparation process and reduces manual handling. This feature ensures consistency across runs and helps minimize the risk of contamination or user error.
This analyzer is versatile and is used in several fields, including clinical diagnostics, forensic investigations, cancer research, and genetic studies. It helps detect genetic disorders such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy and spinal muscular atrophy, and is also used in prenatal screening and the analysis of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), STRs, and AFLPs.
Our Genetic Analyzer is frequently used in forensic labs for constructing DNA databases, especially through Short Tandem Repeat (STR) analysis. Its high throughput and precise fluorescence detection make it ideal for matching DNA profiles in criminal investigations, paternity cases, and missing person identification.
