The cooling system uses a hermetic compressor, which is supported by a restart delay mechanism and integrated thermal overload protection. This ensures the unit remains protected from overheating and mechanical damage. Additionally, the vacuum control system includes a two-stage rotary vane vacuum pump, which helps prevent oil return and maintains a strong vacuum seal, essential for effective freeze-drying of heat-sensitive and moisture-sensitive materials.

The cold trap volume is 6 Liters, with a maximum 24-hour ice capacity of 2 kg, making it efficient for batch processing in small-scale operations.
