Benchtop Turbidity Analyzer LTA-A12 FAQ's
  • Turbidity is commonly measured in NTU or Nephelometric Turbidity Units. Labtron’s Turbidity Analyzer provides measuring range of 0 to 400NTU with minimum resolution of 0.01NTU. It provides repeatability of less than or equal to 3% and indication error of less than or equal to 2% for precise results.

  • Turbidity Analyzer are used for precise water analysis in large, medium, small water plants, industrial and mining enterprises. The Turbidity Analyzer with its simple user-friendly operation and robust design are ideal for determination and identification of multiple samples including drinking water, surface water, domestic sewage, industrial water process environmental and field monitoring.

  • Turbidity Analyzer measures how particles scatter light (optical clarity) whereas, the Suspended Solids Analyzer measure the actual mass of particles in water. Turbidity Analyzer uses a light beam (usually infrared or visible) and measures the light scattered at a specific angle. More scattering is equal to higher turbidity. Suspended Solids Analyzer uses optical density or gravimetric estimation based on light transmission or backscatter, which correlates with the mass of solids in the water.

  • Turbidity Analyzer can permanently save measurement data. In addition to factory-calibrated curves, users can add their own calibration curves. It features storage of 150 factory curves and multiple data records, with data retention even when powered off.

  • The Turbidity Analyzer utilizes an imported high-performance, long-life, high-brightness light source, combined with a narrow-band filter system. It adopts a high-performance, low-power 16-bit microcontroller system, offering excellent performance. It exhibits extremely strong optical stability, making it resistant to various light interference thus ensuring high accuracy and good stability.
