Stainless Steel Glove Boxes are laboratory equipment that can maintain a highly purified, anhydrous, and inert environment for research and experimentation. These use the mechanism of multiple vacuum extractions to replace the gases. The main chamber is non-corrosive stainless steel, which is of the thickness of 3 mm. Additionally, these boxes have reinforced ribs outer shell for better pressure tolerance. Our Glove box is mainly used for creating anaerobic and non-humid environments for organic metal chemistry, etc.
Yes, the A-series glove box can be integrated with a variety of lab instruments such as balances, microscopes, or analytical tools. Feed through ports or cable pass-through allow instrument connectivity while maintaining environmental integrity. Custom mounts or internal platforms can be designed to accommodate specific devices safely.
The glove box is equipped with a high-quality polycarbonate or tempered glass viewing window that offers excellent optical clarity and impact resistance. It is scratch-resistant to a good extent but may require occasional cleaning with non-abrasive materials to maintain clear visibility. Protective films can also be applied if scratch sensitivity is a concern.
Safety features include air-tight gaskets, pressure relief valves, and interlocking doors for antechambers, glove port seals, and optional HEPA/ULPA filtration. Some models also include alarms for over/under pressure, low gas flow, or glove leakage. These ensure the operator’s safety and prevent contamination or environmental leaks.
Depending on the configuration, the A-series may include internal circulation fans or gas purification systems that maintain uniform conditions inside. For inert gas models, gas is circulated and purified through moisture and oxygen removal cartridges. Efficient circulation ensures uniform atmosphere and reduces gas consumption during purging.
Delivery time typically ranges from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on customization and availability. Installation is straightforward and includes positioning the unit, connecting gas lines, testing glove integrity, and ensuring all seals and ports are functioning. Some models require power for integrated systems; basic training is provided to familiarize operators with operation and maintenance.
