Ultrapure Water System LUWS-D11 Catalog
Labtron Ultrapure Water System feature advanced multi-stage filtration processes, ensuringthe removal of all contaminants. They are designed for efficient water delivery and high flowrates. Our system are energy efficient, providing consistent reliability. They are equippedwith a touch-screen panel and real-time alerts for easy operation. They produce Type Iultrapure water, ideal for critical applications such as molecular biology, cell culture, andanalytical chemistry.

The Ultrapure Water System LUWS-D11 integrates advanced multi-stage purification processes with a smart user interface and safety-focused construction. Unlike standard systems, it combines RO, UV, ultrafiltration, and an optional bio-final filter to meet Class II water standards. It uses RFID for real-time consumables tracking and has a touchscreen display for operational ease. Built-in automated flushing, tank sanitization, and pressure monitoring ensure consistent performance and minimal manual maintenance. Its corrosion-resistant ABS housing separates water and electrical components, enhancing long-term durability and lab safety. These integrated features make it ideal for high-end applications like molecular biology and analytical chemistry. It stands out due to its intelligent control, long filter life, and lab-ready design.
The Ultrapure Water System LUWS-D11 uses an ultrafiltration (UF) module and an optional bio-final filter that specifically target biological contaminants like endotoxins, RNases, and DNases. These filters are designed to eliminate even trace amounts of biological molecules that can compromise sensitive experiments. The dual UV sterilization further aids in breaking down organic and biological matter. Regular automated flushing helps prevent buildup and microbial colonization. The flow path is constructed to avoid dead zones, minimizing contamination risks. In addition, users can activate a tank sterilization mode to ensure water stored in the system remains clean. This comprehensive approach ensures water meets the strict purity demands of molecular biology and tissue culture.
The Ultrapure Water System LUWS-D11 provides multi-point water quality monitoring with real-time display of critical parameters. It features resistivity sensors, conductivity meters, and temperature compensation to ensure accurate readings at every purification stage. Independent sensors for feed water, RO water, and ultrapure output allow continuous tracking of system performance. The touchscreen interface presents all data clearly, including alerts for parameter deviations. USB and RS-232 ports enable data export for audits or compliance reporting. These features help ensure the water remains consistently within desired quality thresholds. With this level of monitoring, labs can trust the reliability of every drop.
The Ultrapure Water System LUWS-D11 is optimized to handle moderately high TDS levels in feed water, typically found in urban lab settings. It uses a high-efficiency RO membrane to reject up to 95–99% of dissolved ions, making it suitable for tap water with elevated hardness or conductivity. Pretreatment modules protect sensitive components from scaling or fouling, extending filter life. For exceptionally high TDS water, additional pre-filtration may be recommended before system entry. A feed water quality sensor provides real-time monitoring to assess system load. If feed parameters exceed safe thresholds, the system generates a warning to prevent damage or reduced purity. This makes it adaptable across a range of locations with varied water quality.
The dual UV system in the Ultrapure Water System LUWS-D11 provides two distinct wavelengths for optimal purification. The 185 nm UV lamp breaks down organic compounds by photo-oxidation, effectively reducing Total Organic Carbon (TOC) levels. The 254 nm UV lamp sterilizes the water by disrupting microbial DNA, thereby controlling bacterial contamination. This combination is essential for maintaining water quality required in molecular biology and cell culture applications. UV chambers are installed after key purification stages to ensure maximum efficiency. The system also monitors lamp performance and issues alerts when intensity drops below effective thresholds. Regular UV treatment ensures long-term reliability and safety in sensitive protocols.
