Ultrapure Water System LUWS-E22 Catalog
Labtron Ultrapure Water System feature advanced multi-stage filtration processes, ensuringthe removal of all contaminants. They are designed for efficient water delivery and high flowrates. Our system are energy efficient, providing consistent reliability. They are equippedwith a touch-screen panel and real-time alerts for easy operation. They produce Type Iultrapure water, ideal for critical applications such as molecular biology, cell culture, andanalytical chemistry.

The Ultrapure Water System LUWS-E22 produces both Type III pure water and Type I ultrapure water from standard tap water. Type III water is suitable for general lab cleaning and equipment rinsing, while Type I water is used for sensitive applications like PCR, qPCR, cell culture, and HPLC. The system achieves a resistivity of up to 18.2 M?·cm and a conductivity of 0.055 µS/cm at 25°C, meeting the highest purity standards. It also removes particles, bacteria, pyrogens, and nucleases with high efficiency. The built-in UV lamp helps reduce TOC (Total Organic Carbon) levels to 1–5 ppb, making it ideal for organic-sensitive analyses. With dual output options, the system meets diverse laboratory water requirements in a single compact unit.
The UV module in the Ultrapure Water System LUWS-E22 plays a crucial role in degrading organic contaminants from the water. It targets and breaks down TOC (Total Organic Carbon), which is essential in applications such as PCR, qPCR, and cell culture, where even trace organic matter can interfere with results. The UV lamp, typically operating at 185/254 nm, also helps in maintaining microbial control and reduces endotoxins (pyrogens). This ensures the water remains safe for use in highly sensitive biological experiments. In combination with other purification stages like RO, DI, and ultrafiltration, the UV module enhances overall water purity. Regular monitoring of TOC and timely replacement of the UV lamp is recommended for optimal performance.
The Ultrapure Water System LUWS-E22 is equipped with a microprocessor-controlled system that continuously monitors water quality parameters. It tracks resistivity/conductivity, TOC (if sensor-equipped), and system status, displaying this information in real-time on a digital screen. Alarms and indicators notify users when the cartridges need replacement, or if input water quality is poor. This automated monitoring minimizes the risk of using substandard water in critical applications. The system also keeps track of total dispensing volume and lamp status to ensure optimal performance. Such intelligent monitoring enhances user confidence and system reliability in demanding lab environments.
Yes, the Ultrapure Water System LUWS-E22 is designed to accept standard tap water as its feed source, eliminating the need for pre-treated water. It supports feed water with a conductivity below 2000 µS/cm and hardness less than 450 ppm as CaCO3. The system includes multiple purification stages—reverse osmosis (RO), deionization (DI), UV oxidation, and ultrafiltration (UF)—to transform tap water into high-grade ultrapure water. If feed water exceeds recommended limits, optional pretreatment units like softeners or carbon filters may be needed. The system operates efficiently at input pressures of 0.05–0.5 MPa and temperatures between 5–40°C. This makes the system highly adaptable and easy to install in most lab environments without special plumbing modifications.
The lifespan of consumables like RO membranes, DI cartridges, UV lamps, and ultrafilters depends on the quality of feed water and daily usage. Under standard conditions, RO membranes typically last 12–18 months, DI cartridges around 6–12 months, and UV lamps about 9–12 months. The ultrafiltration module may require replacement every 12–18 months as well. The system’s microprocessor alerts users when maintenance or cartridge replacement is needed, reducing the risk of downtime or poor water quality. Keeping feed water within the recommended specifications extends the service life of internal components. Scheduled maintenance helps ensure consistent performance and reduces long-term operating costs.
