Acrylic Glove Box LAGB-B10

Acrylic Glove Box LAGB-B10

Acrylic Glove Box LAGB-B10 has an antechamber which acts as a bridge between the main chamber and the outer atmosphere and allows safe transfer of sensitive materials. Its antechamber is also clear for the experimental process to me, visually, without dead corners. The glove box has a fast gas exchange system to decrease the time of gas transfer. Our glove box is used in handling sensitive cases requiring inert atmospheres, such as battery research, biological studies, and material sciences.

Acrylic Glove Box LAGB-B10 FAQ's
  • Maintaining low humidity can be challenging due to factors like leaks, insufficient purging, or the use of moist nitrogen. To address this, ensure that the nitrogen used is dry, continuously purge the glove box during use, and verify that your hygrometer can accurately read low humidity levels. Additionally, sealing all junctions with appropriate materials can help prevent moisture ingress.

  • Yes, our Acrylic Glove Boxes are not suitable for use with certain chemicals, especially those containing ammonia or alcohol, as these substances can damage the acrylic material. For applications involving such chemicals, consider using glove boxes made from materials like stainless steel, which offer better chemical resistance.

  • The wall thickness of Acrylic Glove Boxes generally ranges from 6 mm to 30 mm, depending on the model and intended use. Thicker walls provide greater structural strength and better vacuum resistance. Laboratories dealing with higher pressure differentials or mechanical stress typically opt for thicker walls. Meanwhile, lighter, portable versions designed for standard inert gas environments can function effectively with a 6-10 mm wall thickness.

  • Yes, customization is a standard offering for Acrylic Glove Boxes. Manufacturers can adjust dimensions, wall thickness, and number of glove ports, internal shelves, electrical feed through, vacuum antechambers, and gas purging systems according to user specifications. Customization ensures the glove box aligns perfectly with specific experimental protocols, whether it’s accommodating larger devices inside the chamber or integrating specialized monitoring systems for advanced atmospheric control.
