This allows for efficient mixing, aeration, and enough headspace for proper gas exchange during fermentation. To control the temperature, the bioreactor uses a jacketed water bath that surrounds the tank. A circulating pump keeps the water moving through the jacket, ensuring even and consistent heat distribution.
